Kabul: A car bomb, which targeted National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel in southern Helmand province region of Afghanistan, left at least one person killed on Monday, media reports said on Monday.
The incident left 15 others injured.
A security official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Pajhwok Afghan News the car bomb hit an NDS personnel pick-up in Mukhtar area of Lashkargah City at around 7:00pm on Sunday night.
Noorullah, a resident of the area,told the news agency: “The explosion was powerful and it jolted our homes.”
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
