Herat: A blast near a police checkpoint in the city of Herat in Afghanistan on Sunday left at least three policemen killed, media reports said.
Two others, including a civilian, were injured in the blast.
The bomb was placed on a motorbike and was detonated near to a police checkpoint, said Abdul Ahad Walizada, a spokesman for Herat police, reports Tolo News.
Eyewitnesses told the news portal that dozens of shops and nearby houses were damaged in the explosion.
No group claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
