Kabul: A car bomb blast in Afghanistan's eastern Laghman province on Wednesday left at least two people dead, media reports said.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the militants detonated a car bomb close to police headquarters of Alisheng district earlier today, killing 2 policemen and wounding 6 others, reported Khaama Press.
Local officials told the news agency that the explosion killed 2 policemen and wounded at least 26 others including 20 civilians.
The Taliban group claimed responsibility for the incident.
