Moscow (Sputnik/UNI): At least six fighters from Islamic State (IS, terrorist group banned in Russia) were killed in an airstrike in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province, local media reported.
The strike conducted by security forces hit terrorists'positions in Pachir Wa Agam district, according to the Khaama Press News Agency.
War-ravaged Afghanistan, which has been in turmoil for decades, is split by heavy fighting between government troops, Taliban militants and IS fighters.
