Kabul: At least 16 security force members were killed and two more were wounded in an attack carried out by the Taliban in a security outpost in Afghanistan's Kunduz on Thursday night.
The attack took place in Khan Abad district's Tap-e-Akhtar area, local Tolo News reported quoting Rabbani Rabbani, a member of the provincial council in Kunduz.
Rabbani said two security force members were taken hostage by the militants during the attack.
The Taliban is yet to comment on the report.
