Kabul: At least seven people, including women and children, were killed in a mortar attack in Afghanistan's Kunduz on Wednesday evening.
The incident, which took place in the province's Taloka ar,ea also left six others injured.
According to the country's Defence Ministry, the attack was carried out by the Taliban.
"7 civilians, including women and children, were martyred and 6 more were wounded when a Taliban mortar hit civilian houses in Taloka area of Kunduz provincial center, last night," said a MoD tweet on Thursday.

The taliban is yet to comment on the report.
