Taliban attack kills eight soldiers in Afghanistan's Ghor

Kabul: At least eight army men were killed in a Taliban attack in Afghanistan's Ghor province, reports said.

Six other soldiers were wounded in the offensive, officials said on Tuesday.

The incident took place in Shahrak district at a checkpoint known as Qabristan.

The Taliban is yet to comment on the attack.
