Kabul: At least two policemen have been killed in an attack carried out by Taliban militants in Afghanistan's Helmand province, reports said.
The incident took pace on Tuesday night.
According to Pajhwok Afghan News, insurgents stormed a security checkpoint in Ainak locality of the district.
Additionally, three other personnel sustained injuries.
However, according to Omar Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, one policeman was killed while three were wounded.
The Taliban has not commented on the report so far.
