Kabul: At least five militants were killed in a raid jointly conducted by Afghan and foreign troops in Helmand province of the country, local Tolo News reported.
Additionally, three militants, including a German national, were arrested during the raid.
The operation was carried out in Gereshk district of the province at night.
"Five insurgents were killed during the operation and three others including a German national were arrested," commando spokesperson Jawid Saleem was quoted as saying by the outlet.
