The delayed global response to the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa "increased the spread" of the virus, medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres has claimed. In a report, published one year after the outbreak was officially declared, the charity suggests early calls for help were ignored by local governments and the World Health Organization.
