Kabul: Taliban terrorists have destroyed a part of the Kandahar-Uruzgan highway in Afghanistan, officials said on Thursday.
The Ministry of Defence said in a statement: "The highway was destroyed by Taliban in Andalan area of Shahwali Kot district of Kandahar Province."
"Taliban have destroyed thousands of kilometers of highways which were constructed by Afghan government," read the statement.
According to local media reports, the Taliban group did not comment on the issue so far.
