Kabul: The Kabul Police have foiled a deadly explosion by defusing an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan's Sarobi area, media reports said on Monday.
The Kabul Police Headquarters said in a statement the police forces discovered and defused the bomb in Sarobi district at around 10:30 am local time today, reported Khaama Press.
The statement further added that the enemies had planted the bomb on a roadside in Jagdalak area and were looking to detonate it using a remote control, reported the news agency.
The police detected the bomb and defused it.
No terrorist group has commented on the matter so far.
