Islamabad: Six Pakistani Army soldiers were killed in the country's North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday when terrorists opened fire on them from across the Pak-Afghan border, officials said.
According to Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists from across the border fire raided on Pakistan Army border patrolling party near Gurbaz, North Wazirstan.
"6 Soldiers embraced shahadat," the ISPR said in a statement.
The six soldiers were identified as Havaldar Khalid, Sepoy Naveed, Sepoy Bachal, Sepoy Ali Raza, Sepoy M Babar, Sepoy Ahsan.
The ISPR also said in a statment that in a separate incident FC Balochistan troops fired upon by terrorists during combing operation between Hushab and Turbat.
"Four including an officer embraced Shahadat. Shaheeds include Capt Aqib, Sepoy Nadir, Sepoy Atif Altaf and Sepoy Hafeezullah," it said.
