US President Donald Trump on Tuesday shared an AI-generated futuristic vision of Gaza, a region reeling under from the aftershocks of war which has not ended yet, as he is planning to shape it.
The video begins with the current state of Gaza which is heavily bombarded by Israeli jets following the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
The video soon shifts to Trump's vision of the city where a yacht could be seen parked close to the coast while high-speed cars, skyscrapers, bustling markets, and strip clubs, provide a luxurious makeover to the ruined city that has been witnessing war with Israel for more than a year.
It also shows a gigantic golden statue of Donald Trump built somewhere amid palm trees with a serene sunset at the backdrop, marking a contrasting view of the city from its present situation.
The video also features Tesla boss Elon Musk and Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
The AI video shows Trump and Netanyahu, relaxing on the beach and enjoying a drink.
Away from the beach, a child could be seen holding a gigantic golden-coloured balloon resembling Trump's face.
In another section of the video, Trump could be seen with a dance inside a nightclub while Elon is busy showering money on the beach.
Indicating the control the US President aims to implement on the city, the video showed a huge building built in the region with a board that reads 'Trump Gaza'.
Earlier this month, Trump had announced the US would 'take over' war-hit Gaza and create a "Riviera of the Middle East" after resettling Palestinians elsewhere, a comment that created confusion and drew criticism of Hamas and ally Saudi Arabia.
Trump was quoted as saying by BBC: "The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site"
He further said: "Level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings. Level it out and create an economic development that will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area."
"We'll do a real job. Do something different. Just can't go back. If you go back, it's going to be the same way it has for 100 years," he said.
The video was released by Trump on Truth Social amid the ongoing three-phase ceasefire deal between Gaza and Israel.
Several hostages and prisoners have been exchange during the ongoing truce.
1200 people died in Israel during Hamas' attack on October 7, 2023 which led to the beginning of the 15-month war.
