Los Angeles: Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has sold his Los Angeles residence, where he stayed for 30 years, after listing it for USD40 million, media reports said.
Interestingly, in this residence, Pitt and his former wife Angelina Jolie raised their six children — Maddox, 21, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 16, and 14-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The Babylon star, 59, has found a buyer for the sprawling estate he's owned for nearly 30 years in the neighborhood of Los Feliz, reports People.
A real-estate source previously confirmed to the magazine that he was trying to unload the expansive property for about $40 million in January.
Pitt first called the space home after buying the original mansion from Elvira, Mistress of the Dark star Cassandra Peterson in 1994 for a reported $1.7 million. Since then, the Academy Award winner has purchased multiple lots adjacent to the original home and filled them with a swimming pool, tennis court and skating rink.
Sources told People that Pitt decided to sell the 1.9-acre property because he's "looking for something smaller" in the L.A. area.
Brad and Jolie couple decided to split in 2016.
Following their split and since being ruled legally single in 2019, the former couple have been in ongoing negotiations regarding the custody of their children and the divvying of their financial assets, including another impressive property: their Château Miraval estate in the South of France, reports People
