Women Malala meets Barack Obama

Washington, Oct 12 (JEN): Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai met US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in the Oval Office on Friday.
Obama's daughter Malia was also present at the meeting.
"President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and their daughter Malia meet with Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani schoolgirl who was shot in the head by the Taliban a year ago, in the Oval Office, Oct. 11, 2013," the White House said.
The Obamas reportedly thanked Malala for her works for girls' education.
Malala was shot by the Taliban for promoting education for girls last year.
She addressed the United Nations in July this year.
