Seattle: Condemning the Chinese government for committing Human rights abuses amounting to crimes against humanity, various groups, including Tibetans, Uyghurs, Hong Kongers, protested in different cities on the West Coast of the US.
Protests were held on Human Rights Day in San Francisco, California; Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon.
Protesters, braving inclement weather including heavy rainfall and high winds, protested in front of the Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco.
Protests were held on the iconic I-5 in Seattle; and in Downtown Portland.
The protest in Salt Lake City had to be cancelled due to heavy snowfall.
