Vienna: The Uyghur Diaspora organised a protest in front of the Chinese embassy (Mettenrichgasst 4) in Vienna on the 13th anniversary of the Urumqi massacre on Wednesday (July 6) evening.
Approximately 12-15 members of the Uyghur Diaspora were present in the protest, and they were carrying posters and flags.
Mevlan Dilshat, the president of Uyghur community in Vienna, said, "We have gathered here for the massacre that occurred on July 5 in Urumqi, and to remember the ongoing genocide taking place in East Turkestan today."
Meanwhile, another protest is also planned in front of Chinese embassy on Thursday (July 7) for Urumqi massacre and genocide in East Turkestan.
