At least four Pakistani soldiers and three terrorists were killed in a gunfight at the Pakistani-Afghan border in the country's southwest Balochistan province, military said on Friday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations, the media wing of the Pakistan army, said in a statement that the terrorists belonged to the banned terrorist organisation Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan.
Several others sustained injuries, it added.
"Security Forces of Pakistan will continue to thwart efforts of the enemies of peace and prosperity in the country," added the military.
