Kabul: At least eight people died as a car bomb blast hit Afghanistan's Herat region on Friday, media reports said.
The incident left 60 others injured.
The attack happened near a police outpost in Herat city’s district 14 on Friday evening, the provincial governor Waheed Qatali told Tolo News.
Several houses were reported damaged in the incident.
Most of those wounded are children, eyewitnesses told the news portal.
No group claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
