Kabul: Suspected Taliban terrorists shot dead an Imam in Lash Juwayn district of Afghanistan's Farah region on Monday, media reports said.
The incident occurred in Farah city, capital of the province after he had finished evening prayers, according to local officials as quoted by Khaama Press.
The officials did not provide further details on motivation behind the murder, but claims the Taliban are involved, the news agency reported.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
