Kabul: At least 12 demining workers have been abducted by ISIS militants from Afghanistan's Kunar province, reports said.
The incident took place on Wednesday evening in the province's Nangala district.
Provincial governor spokesperson Ghani Musamim said that the workers were removing IEDs when the kidnapping took place.
He said a rescue operation has been initiated.
