Kabul: A suicide bombing close to the gate of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in Darulaman in PD 6 of Afghanistan's Kabul city left at least six people killed, media reports said on Sunday.
The suicide bomber reportedly detonated his explosives.
The explosion took place at around 4.30 pm, reports said.
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development's spokesman Faridoon Azhand told TOLOnews that the explosion happened outside the gate when ministry staff were leaving work for the day.
However, eyewitnesses told the Afghanistan-based news portal that it appeared that the suicide bomber might have targeted a vehicle carrying foreigners who were leaving the ministry.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
