The US Embassy in Riyadh was struck by two drones on Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence confirmed.
Quoting an official spokesperson, the Ministry said in a post on X that the embassy had been targeted in a drone attack.

The incident caused a small fire and minor structural damage to the building. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
Videos circulating on social media, purportedly from the scene, showed thick smoke billowing from the compound as firefighters worked to bring the flames under control. The authenticity of the footage could not be independently verified.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump on Monday indicated that military operations against Iran could continue without a fixed timeline.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump dismissed questions about the duration of the campaign, saying, “Whatever the time is, it’s OK.”
“We’re already substantially ahead of our time projections,” he said. “From the beginning, we projected four to five weeks, but we have the capability to go far longer than that. Whatever it takes, we’ll do it.”
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed on the first day of the conflict, plunging the country into political uncertainty and fuelling fears of a broader regional war.
