Well, according to multiple Twitter users he did and the fact that Finnish police have announced that they have identified the attacker as an 18-year-old Moroccan citizen, tips the scale heavily on that claim.
Users have clearly expressed rage at the attack and several of them have even mocked Islam's doctrine of 'peace'.
David Jones, an user, tweeted: "Terrorist in Finland was screaming Allahu Akbar, is anyone surprised, Europe is in the middle of a war ."

Another, Bruce Porter Jr, said that Europe should ban Islam.
"1+ dead, multiple injured after stabbing and shooting in central Turku, Finland. Time to #BanIslam protect our kids," he tweeted.
Swedish photographer and journalist Peter Sweden rued the fact that the police did not term the attack as 'terrorist killings'.
"The attack in Finland which killed 2 people and injured 8 is not being investigated as terror attack despite attacker yelling 'allah akhbar'," he tweeted.
Several people have been stabbed in knife attack in Turku, Finland. Finnish police have shot the perpetrator.

However, this tweet was posted about 15 hours ago and since them the attack has been deemed as 'terrorist killing'.
Another user, Larry Schweikart, tweeted, "Islamic terrorist knife attack in Finland: Muslim screaming 'Allahu Akbar' goes on stabbing rampage in Turku- Motives undetermined."

Aleph, an user tweeted, ">another religion of peace terrorist attack in Finland."
However, contrary to Twitter users' outrage, such behaviour has not been reported by the police or witnesses.
