The incident took place on Thursday afternoon.
However, police said no one was hurt as the man hit the barriers set up in-front of the mosque for protection.

According to a local newspaper, the attacker is of Armenian origin and wanted to avenge Islamist-linked attacks in the French capital.
Earlier this month, at least one person was killed in a similar incident in Finsbury, England.
Europe has witnessed a surge in vehicle attacks in the past two years.
France has come under repeated attacks from the IS, who in a letter to the French people threatened to carry out more attacks in the future if the country's government did not stop their anti-terror campaign.
