Global Headlines DB Schenker in India appoints Rupesh Gupta as Director-Ocean Freight

New Delhi, Feb 17 (JEN): Schenker India Pvt. Ltd, part of DB Schenker, the transport and logistics division of Deutsche Bahn AG, has appointed Rupesh Gupta as Director-Ocean Freight effective February 2015.
He will be responsible for further strengthening the ocean freight operations, procurement and development activities and drive the function at national level.
Rupesh has held various ocean product & P+L roles in the logistics and other industries and brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the global and Indian logistics market. Before taking up his current role in India, he was working with one of the major Swiss retail groups.

In his current role with DB Schenker in India, he will report to Shubhendu Das, Chief Operating Officer.
