Kyiv: Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday said his country has brought a complaint against Russia at the International Court of Justice.
The President said he is requesting the panel of judges to order Russia to cease military activity now.
The President said he expects a trial on the issue will start next week.
He tweeted: "Ukraine has submitted its application against Russia to the ICJ. Russia must be held accountable for manipulating the notion of genocide to justify aggression. We request an urgent decision ordering Russia to cease military activity now and expect trials to start next week."
