Kabul: Two people were killed and two others wounded after a Afghan army's MI-17 helicopter crash landed due to "technical problem" in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.
The incident took place in Hesarak district on Wednesday, the Ministry of Defence said.
Among the deceased were a flight crew and one ANP member, the MoD said in a tweet.
"Last night around 12:00 a.m., an AAF helicopter crashed while taking off in Hesarak district of Nangarhar Prov. due to technical issues. Unfortunately, a flight crew and one ANP member were martyred and 2 others were wounded as a result of the incident," the tweet read.

The ministry also condoled the loss.
"MOD's leadership extends condolences to families of the martyred and prays that the martyred are placed in heaven," another tweet read.
