Tel Aviv (Sputnik/UNI) The Hamas movement has fired more than 90 missiles at Israel since Saturday morning, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, updating the previous figures.
Earlier in the day, IDF announced that they were conducting aerial attacks against Palestinian rocket launchers.
According to the previous data, Hamas fired "about 50 rocket launches," with the Iron Dome missile defense system intercepting dozens of them.
"We have just started targeting Hamas military posts in Gaza in response to over 90 rockets fired from #Gaza at Israeli civilians this morning," IDF wrote on Twitter, as its tanks began attacking Hamas targets.
No injuries have been reported following the one-hour bombardment.
