Kabul: At least six Taliban terrorists were killed during an operation conducted by intelligence officials in Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province on Friday, media reports said on Saturday.
The special National Directorate of Security or NDS forces conducted the operation in Adwar area last night, the Nangarhar governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News.
A bomb making expert was killed in the incident.
He was identified as Zarin, reports said.
"The security forces also confiscated two Kalashnikovs, one walkie-talkie and five magazines besides destroying some explosives," Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
One terrorist was injured and two others were captured by security officials.
