According to reports, the court said that Joyce and four others were wrongly elected as they held dual citizenship.
Following his exit, the incumbent government's one seat majority has been wiped off, however, he could return via a by-election.
Joyce, who denounced his New Zealand citizenship in August, said he will contest in the by-polls.
"I respect the verdict of the court," he said following the verdict.
"We live in a marvellous democracy, with all the checks and balances they have given us all the freedoms we see. I thank the court for their deliberations," he added.
The others four who have been stripped of their post are Fiona Nash, Malcolm Roberts, Larissa Waters and Scott Ludlam.
