Lima (Peru), Dec 26 (ANI): A clash broke out between police officers and protesters in Lima. This came a day after Peruvian President Pedro Pablo Kuczynski pardoned former authoritarian leader Alberto Fujimori. Tens and hundreds of Peruvians marched through the streets of Lima to protest against pardon granted to former leader Alberto Fujimori. The protestors also called on President Kuczynski to step down in a second day of unrest. As the march made its way through downtown, clashes between officers in riot gear and protesters erupted. Police had to resort to tear gas to disperse crowds.
