Pausing his art of fighting villains with his web of actions, Spiderman actor Tom Holland will return to theatre and play Romeo in William Shakespeare’s evergreen “Romeo & Juliet” in London’s West End this year.
Tom played the role of Peter Parker in Marvel’s latest Spider-Man and Avengers films.
Tom announced his new venture on Instagram and wrote: "Sign up now. Link in bio."
The Duke of York's Theatre described the play on its website as: "Tom Holland is Romeo in Jamie Lloyd’s pulsating new vision of Shakespeare’s immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers and fighters."
The play will run for a limited period between May 11 to August 3.
Apart from essaying the role of Spiderman, he has acted in movies like Uncharted (2022), The Devil All the Time (2020) and Cherry (2021).
