Hollywood actor Jason Momoa has unveiled a new look by shaving off his beard for the first time in six years.
Momoa shared a video on Instagram where he could be seen shaving his beard with a razor.
Sharing the video, the actor wrote: "Haven’t shaved in six years, and here we are again. I launched @mananalu to help eliminate single-use plastic. Now, we’re taking it even further, partnering with our team at @Getboomerangwater to bring in a closed-loop system that sanitizes and bottles water onsite."
"That means even less waste, reduced shipping footprint, and our aluminum bottles get reused over and over. This is the future, and we’re starting in Hawai’i. Let’s get rid of single-use plastic. For our children and for our planet. All my aloha, j," he said.
According to reports, he is experimenting with his new look as preparation for the upcoming Dune franchise movie.
After finishing shaving, the actor was heard saying in the video: "Goddamnit, I hate it!"
“This is the kickoff, 'Dune 3,'" he was quoted as saying by Today, before referencing "Dune" director Denis Villeneuve by saying, “Only for you, Denis."
The first movie of the Dune franchise was released in 2021.
A sequel, Dune: Part Two, was released on March 1, 2024.
