US heavy metal band Metallica on Sunday said it has decided to postpone their concert in Phoenix since their frontman James Hetfield contracted COVID-19.
The concert was scheduled to take place on September 3.
The band posted on X: "We’re very sorry to report that tomorrow’s scheduled M72 date at State Farm Stadium has been postponed to Saturday, September 9, 2023, as, unfortunately, COVID has caught up with James. "
