Streaming major Netflix has slashed prices in more than 30 countries in an attempt to woo more subscribers.
The price of the service has been slashed in parts of Asia, Europe, Latin America, sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
"Members have never had more choices when it comes to entertainment," a company spokesperson told the BBC.
"We're always exploring ways to improve our members' experience. We can confirm that we are updating the pricing of our plans in certain countries," a Netflix spokesperson told the British media.
Netflix operates in more than 190 countries.
It is facing tough competition from other online streaming platforms like HBO and Amazon.
