At least three people were injured after an explosion occurred close to their car in Tirah Valley of Khyber district on Monday.
According to police, the incident occurred in the Serrai Kandaw area when an explosive device planted on the road detonated as the car carrying Khushal Amin, the in-charge of Serrai Kandaw check post, and two of his companions approached, Dawn News reported.
The vehicle was badly damaged in the blast.
The injured people were shifted to hospital for treatment.
