Kabul: Several Taliban IED experts were killed when the explosives they were making burst in Afghanistan's Chahabar Bolak district, media reports said on Monday.
The blast reportedly occurred inside a mosque.
The statement further added that a group of 8 Taliban IED experts were busy manufacturing a bomb inside a mosque in Sikandar Khel Village, reports Khaama Press.
The premature explosion caused by IED killed four Taliban militants and wounded at least four others, the 209th Shaheen Corps added in its statement, reports the news portal.
A large cache of explosives were destroyed in the incident.
The Taliban group did not comment on the matter so far.
