San Francisco, Dec 19 (JEN): Twitter has taken down at least three accounts related to far-right British political outfit, Britain First.
Though the San Francisco based company has stayed away from commenting on the accounts, on Monday, a Twitter blog read that it would remove anything "hateful and abusive".
Interestingly, one of the three accounts was also involved in posting three inflammatory videos, which were later retweeted by US President Donald Trump, inviting scathing criticism from other natonal leaders.
According to new Twitter policies, it prohibits accounts that "affiliate with organizations that use or promote violence against civilians to further their causes."
It further said that it will take down any content that "glorifies violence or the perpetrators of a violent act."
