Lenovo Tech World returned with an action-packed showcase of innovation, and this year’s event in Las Vegas was no exception.
Lenovo and Motorola took their biggest stage yet to unveil major updates to their AI roadmap, expand high-profile partnerships with FIFA and Formula 1, and introduce a wave of cutting-edge devices. Motorola stood at the center of the spotlight, debuting its first foldable smartphone, launching a new ultra-premium mobile franchise, revealing a special FIFA edition razr, and announcing a unified AI ecosystem that seamlessly connects Motorola and Lenovo devices.
Motorola Unveils Its First Foldable Smartphone: motorola razr fold
The motorola razr fold marks a bold new chapter for the iconic razr family, introducing a foldable form factor designed to adapt effortlessly to users’ lives. Engineered for both productivity and entertainment, the device delivers flexible layouts and intuitive interfaces without compromising performance or style.
Featuring a slim, striking design, the razr fold feels comfortable in hand while offering a large 6.6-inch external display that delivers the familiarity of a traditional smartphone. When unfolded, it transforms into an immersive 8.1-inch 2K LTPO display, creating a spacious canvas for multitasking, creativity, and entertainment. Adaptive interfaces, flexible layouts, and moto pen ultra stylus support enhance productivity, while on-device AI features like Catch Me Up and Next Move help users stay organized and informed throughout the day.
The razr fold also boasts a powerful camera system built to capture every moment with precision. Its triple 50MP camera array—including a main lens, ultrawide/macro, and 3x periscope telephoto—delivers sharp, detailed images across a wide range of scenarios. A 32MP external selfie camera enables high-quality shots even when the device is closed, while a 20MP internal camera ensures clear video calls and content capture when open. Powered by Sony’s LYTIA™ sensor and supported by Dolby Vision® recording and advanced video stabilization, the device offers cinematic-quality visuals that feel vibrant and true to life.
Motorola Launches New Ultra-Premium Franchise With motorola signature
Motorola also announced the debut of motorola signature, the first device in its new ultra-premium smartphone series. Designed for users who demand excellence in technology, design, and service, the motorola signature represents Motorola’s most sophisticated phone to date.
The device features refined finishes, bold colorways, and support for up to seven years of Android OS and security updates. It introduces exclusive experiences such as on-demand, white-glove assistance and delivers Motorola’s most advanced specifications yet. The motorola signature is the first ultra-thin smartphone in its class equipped with four 50MP cameras, powered by the 3nm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform with a dedicated AI processing engine for exceptional performance and visuals.
Despite its slim profile, the phone packs a 5200mAh silicon-carbon battery, 90W TurboPower™ fast charging, and 50W wireless charging. Its 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display, combined with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos®, and Sound by Bose technology, offers an immersive entertainment experience.
Motorola Qira: One Unified AI Across Devices
Building on insights from Lenovo AI Now and moto ai, Lenovo and Motorola acknowledged a common user frustration—switching between devices, reentering prompts, and retraining AI tools. To address this, the companies introduced Motorola Qira, a unified AI solution that brings together moto ai, Lenovo AI Now, Creator Zone, and Learning Zone into one seamless system.
Operating under a single name, interface, and wake word, Motorola Qira works as a shared intelligence across devices, powered by a common knowledge base that carries context wherever users go. Strategic partnerships with Microsoft 365 and Copilot, Qualcomm, Intel, Perplexity, and Google further enhance trusted, on-device AI experiences. Qira remembers context, anticipates needs, and helps users pick up exactly where they left off—eliminating unnecessary friction across devices.
Project Maxwell: AI Perceptive Companion Proof of Concept
At Motorola’s 312 Labs, engineers are exploring new ways to integrate AI naturally into everyday life. This led to the creation of Project Maxwell, an AI Perceptive Companion proof of concept designed to deliver hands-free, context-aware assistance.
The AI-native wearable continuously collects visual and audio data—seeing what users see and hearing what they hear—to provide real-time insights and personalized recommendations. For instance, users attending a conference can ask Project Maxwell to listen to a keynote and later generate a LinkedIn post summarizing the event, all without pulling out a phone.
Key capabilities include Multimodal Perception Fusion, which blends audio and visual inputs for real-time context, and Natural Language Interaction, enabling the AI not just to respond, but to execute user-initiated actions. While still a proof of concept, learnings from Project Maxwell will shape Motorola’s future AI innovations.
Motorola razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition
Motorola also revealed the motorola razr FIFA World Cup 26 Edition, part of its Collections by Motorola series. Celebrating Motorola’s role as the Official Smartphone Partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026™, the device blends iconic design with the spirit of the world’s biggest sporting event.
Available beginning February through motorola.com and Verizon during its introductory month, the special edition phone features FIFA-inspired customization, including exclusive wallpapers, the official tournament ringtone, and a FIFA photo watermark. The device retains the razr’s intelligent external display, AI-powered camera system, and durable titanium-reinforced hinge with IP48 protection, alongside a 4500mAh battery built to last from kickoff to the final whistle.
Expanding the Motorola Ecosystem
At CES 2026, Motorola also expanded its moto things ecosystem with the introduction of moto sound flow, moto watch, moto pen ultra, and moto tag 2. From Bose-powered speakers and a versatile stylus to a wellness-focused smartwatch developed with Polar, these connected devices blend functionality with premium design, featuring Pantone-curated colors and refined finishes.
