Kabul, Nov 15 (JEN): A magnetic improvised explosive devise (IED) blast has killed the Education Director of Parwan province in Afghanistan, reports said.
The deceased has been identified as Atta Mohammad Matin.
He was killed on Tuesday night at around 11 pm.
According to Farhad Hashimi, Parwan police CID acting-director, Matin had been attending a cultural programme in Charekar, the provincial capital and was on his way home when the blast happened.
No one has been arrested so far, Hashimi added.
No group has claimed responsibility so far.
