Caracas, Aug 17 (JEN): At least 37 people have been killed in a prison riot in Venezuela's Puerto Ayacucho, the capital of Amazonas state, reports said.
Media reports quoted witnesses as saying that they heard multiple gunshots.
State governor Liborio Guarulla has called it a "massacre".
