US President-elect Donald Trump has offered Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik the job of US ambassador to the UN, media reports said.
The New York congresswoman, the fourth-ranking House Republican, has been a strong ally of the president-elect and a major fundraiser for the GOP, reported CNN.
Donald Trump earlier served as the President after the 2016 election.
He is returning to power for the second term after beating his Democratic opponent and US Vice-President Kamala Harris on November 5.
