Several international leaders praised US President Joe Biden after he dropped out of the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for the crucial polls.
Recently elected British PM Keir Starmer said he respects Biden's decision and posted on X: " I respect President Biden's decision and I look forward to us working together during the remainder of his presidency."
"I know that, as he has done throughout his remarkable career, he will have made his decision based on what he believes is best for the American people," he said.

New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon wrote on X: "President Biden has dedicated his life to public service, and that is something that deserves much respect." US President Joe Biden on Sunday announced he will not seek re-election in the 'best interest' of his party and the country.
Biden was under pressure to quit the presidential race following his struggling performance in the debate with many within his party doubting his candidacy and re-election attempt.
Biden made the announcement just four months before the USA votes to elect a new President.
