The Baloch Yakjeheti Committee has alleged the Pakistani Army has intensified harassment and intimidation in Gwadar.
The group claimed the Army is conducting door-to-door search operations in the area.
"This is a blatant violation of human rights. Such operations are being carried out on a daily basis. During these illegal raids, People are being displaced and tortured, women and children are terrified, and fishermen are locked in their houses when they need to go fishing," it said.
According to reports, two people were forcefully detained by alleged Army members in Noshki district of Balochistan recently.
The detainees have been identified as Noor Ahmed, son of Sayad Khan Sumalani, and Sahib Khan, son of Jalal Khan Sumalani, residents of Noshki’s Reko area. They used to earn their living by herding and farming, reported The Balochistan Post.
