Russian officials on Sunday confirmed genetic analysis of bodies showed Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin died during a plane crash last week.
The Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement as quoted by TASS: "As part of the investigation into the plane crash in the Tver Region, molecular genetic examinations have been completed."
The agency said: "According to their results, the identities of all 10 victims have been established. They correspond to the list stated in the flight manifest."
The Russian aviation agency said earlier that the list of passengers includes the names of Yevgeny Prigozhin and Dmitry Utkin.
All 10 passengers, who were travelling from Moscow to St. Petersburg, died when the plane in which they were travelling crashed on August 23.
The crash occurred just months after Prigozhin led a Wagner mutiny against the Russian armed forces. The group was able to seize the southern city of Rostov.
The group even threatened to march to country's capital Moscow.
However, a deal was reached which led to Prigozhin and Wagner fighters relocating to Belarus, ending the standoff.
