Boksburg/South Africa: At least eight people died as a fuel tanker exploded in Boksburg city in South Africa on Saturday, media reports said.
The mishap left 50 people injured.
Emergency workers are currently present at the scene.
Ekurhuleni Emergency Services spokesperson William Ntladi told News24 eight people died, while Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi said 10 people were killed and about 50 people were injured.
Several of the injured people were shifted to hospital for treatment.
"We can confirm that a roof section (sic) at the hospital casualty department has collapsed," Ntladi told News 24.
