Kabul: Two policemen were killed and another was wounded in an explosion in Afghanistan's Badghis province on Wednesday, local media reports said on Thursday.
According to Tolo News, a police vehicle struck a roadside mine in Moqur district, causing the explosion.
The incident was confirmed by Khan Jan Zafar, a member of the provincial council.
"However, local officials have not yet commented on the blast," the report read.
No group including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the blast so far.
