Kabul: Just days after several rocket attacks killed at least 10 people in Afghanistan's Kabul, armed forces stopped a similar incident from taking place.
According to the country's defence ministry, four rocket attacks were prevented by the Afghan National Army (ANA).
The rockets, which were kept by the Taliban, were discovered by the forces before the militants could use them to launch an attack, said a tweet.
"4 rockets which were placed by Taliban in Paghman district of Kabul Prov. and ready to be launched on Kabul city, were discovered by ANA. Lives of tens of civilians were saved as a result," part of a Afghanistan MoD tweet read.
